Welcome to the Christ Community Facebook Page! We are a new and growing church plant dedicated to living out the Gospel of God's Grace found in Jesus.
We know it can be so hard for many of us to come into a new group to check out what they are like. There are so many questions! What will they be like? How will I know if they are being truthful about who they are? Will they like me? What should I wear to fit in? How will they help take care of my children? I have not been to church in years, will they accept me as I am? I'm not so sure about this church thing or what the gospel is all about. Is that ok? Please know that this is a safe place for you and your family. We aim to be real. We confess when we are not. We don't have it all together and we don't expect anyone else to have it all together. Come as you are. Engage us in community if you wish. Come to only experience and listen if you want. We want you to be encouraged and challenged by the gospel of grace. We work hard to make it possible for you to do so. We know we all come from different places in life and we have different perspectives. We not only think this is ok, but we encourage each of us to bring our perspectives into our community. Central to our church is the gospel of Jesus. We know we all need to walk deeper in faith. You are not alone in having more questions than answers. Currently we are forming small groups and joining together for worship and prayer in the lower level of the church, located at 809 Smelter Ave NW, where you can join in with us every Sunday evening at 6 pm. We meet to worship Jesus, to pray, to hear God's Word, and to enjoy the community of others who are searching to know Jesus better. This worship time is rather casual. We have singing lead by guitars and a growing team of worship leaders. If you have a bible, you might want to bring it or make sure you have it on a phone app. Pastor Greg teaches straight from the bible and through biblical books. You will find that these messages match exactly where you are in life. The pastor has a gift for bringing God's word to life and applying it. We are beginning a series in October on the book of Galatians called "The Gospel Foundation." Our worship time is done by 7 or 7:15pm. (If you are a football fan like the pastor, you won't miss the early or late game. You will also be back home before half-time of the Sunday Night Football! It is perfect.) We have childcare provided and a good group of children from every age group. We also have discipleship groups of different kinds meeting throughout the week. Pastor Greg is also available to meet. Just call the church at 453-9010 to set up a time to meet. We are seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance and favor so we plant a church that will grow into a beacon of light in the gospel to Great Falls and all of Montana. As we seek God's favor and add new people into our core group, we are meeting weekly for discipleship, prayer, worship and fellowship.
